TRUST
Trusting to let things unfold is the hardest lesson for action-oriented people. I am definitely talking about myself. It involves letting go of control, having patience, not forcing things to happen. It means really quieting the mind, not to think of what action to take as the pause in activity may mean there is something ahead that I cannot think of. I, instead, need to be open to all possibilities, possibly something better than I could ever have imagined. All the while, knowing that this is a lesson, part of being on my path. Sigh. No one ever said this would be easy. As long as I can laugh, as long as there is a sky to enjoy, Shaelyn's smile, Jake's hug, there is joy and I am ok. (And, the ten-year-old kitty we rescued chasing her tail!)
