A WINDING PATH

       It has been quite some time since my last post.  Usually, I get a nudge from Spirit to post, that there is something to channel, or I just know it is time to say something.  I am not quite sure how to bring this blog up-to-date, as I kid you not when I say the path has been a winding one.  A very unexpected one.

       Shortly after the last post, an unanticipated event hit me out of the blue.  I asked my angels and guides for help, guidance.  I heard, "you are being pulled, new direction."  OK.  I asked for additional signs and they came from unexpected sources, including a call from someone that I had not talked with in about three months and who had no idea what was going on.  Out of context she said something that I had to have her repeat.  Unwittingly, she had become my earth messenger, so I knew the next step to take.  Awesome.

       Shortly after that, my daughter, her three children, my husband and I all got sick within a few days of one another.  I went down for the count.  We heard from our medical teams that there was something going around that was taking a long time for people to recover from.  Again, I went to Spirit for guidance.  Heard that I had been "pulled" and it was time to "stop and be."  I had no choice but to stop and be.  Though it was not "fun" being sick, it provided a time to go inward, heal what needed attention and what was now the time to heal.  It was a time for messages, tying up loose ends, insight.  This took me by surprise as I thought Ed and I were suppose to bring Soul Entrainment(TM) forward.  We are, but in Divine timing as he also needed to go inward.  

       The media focused on the end of the Mayan calendar last year.  The real energetic work has been this year for many people.  There has been upheaval, turmoil, new directions, the end of some relationships and the start of new ones, etc. A time of deep learning and the releasing of what no longer serves us.  All of this as a way to prepare us to go forward in ways we could never have imagined. 

       One of the important lessons/messages is that there are many people who stay in their ego and are (to quote a dear friend) "chasing spirituality" rather than living it.  The way of man is limiting.  We must always remember we are a Soul having a human experience.  Our Soul came from a Source of unconditional love and we are returning to that unconditional love.  We must periodically remember who we really are.  We are not merely this body in this world.  This physical body is hosting the Soul.  This time of going inward and staying put gave me the time to do "The 40 Day Love Affair with Your Self" by Karen Paolino Correia.  Anyone who knows me, knows of my admiration and love for Karen.  She is an Earth Angel and I cherish her as a teacher. I highly recommend this.  It is done as an online program and it was perfect timing for me to do this during this time.  You will see a difference in yourself at the end of this.  Take your time with it and really go with the process.

       Linda being Linda, I had a go around with my doctor in mid October.  I was still getting a periodic low-grade temperature, and the physical stress of this caused a slight flare of lupus. I am not a good patient for traditional medicine.  It has often failed me, and my daughter.  It has been really important for my husband, but we still support him with supplements and energy work that is often frowned upon.  And the doctors marvel at how well he does!  At any rate, I am a member of the Rhode Island Holistic Healers Association and was part of the committee planning the Holistic Awareness Day that was held November 3rd at the Sheraton in Warwick, RI.  (It was fabulous!!!)  The co-founder of the association who heads it (Susanne Dillon)  works with therapeutic grade essential oils.  I started working with her and an oil I purchased from her finally ended the temperature.  The oils have a frequency and science is now looking at the benefit of the oils.  It is, really, another form of energy healing.  I have started working with a couple of others and, yesterday, my daughter embarked on a program for symptoms that have been resistant to traditional approaches.  I have started studying this.  It is important to use therapeutic grade oils for healing.  Looks like this is another tool in my tool box.  Love it.

       And so, the winding path continues.  And I welcome it, love it.  I would be bored otherwise!!! Guess Spirit knows this and uses this.

Listening to the Wisdom of Your Soul

The journey of facilitating Soul Entrainment(TM) has been

interesting and fascinating.  It is an awe inspiring experience to 

bear witness to the miracles of change and healing.

        Yesterday, we attended the Advanced Soul Entrainment (TM)

class taught by Karen Paolino Correia.  It included being certified

in Soul Mediumship.  Using the technique of Soul Entrainment, one can be guided to meeting an illumined being in Spirit.  We observed our volunteer client connect Soul to Soul with her mother, who had passed, to receive guidance and clarity.  This leads to a healing of unbelievable proportions which has a ripple effect that reaches out to others, raising the vibration of everyone involved, as well as Mother Earth.

                When I look back to the time of my injury, or cosmic boot, six years ago, I would never believe then that I would be where I am now.  The journey has exceeded all expectations from what I first thought at my first Reiki class.  Everything that I am, and all I have experienced, in this life and my previous lives, have led to this moment in time. I know that I shall never die, just change form.  I know that the energy channeled to us from God, has miraculous capability if the receiver is open to receive and heal.  I know that the wisdom of the Soul is infinite, since we are infinite, as we are souls having an Earthly experience to advance the evolution of 

our souls.  Our soul knows everything and the technique to access this has been given to a special Earth Angel who is now teaching it to others.

            I am also bearing witness to the impact of this training on my husband who is blossoming into the excitement of what this work entails and the impact it has on people, including the healing it has given him.  At our age, we feel very much alive and happy.

            I am so blessed and so grateful.

     Poignant graduation from the Advanced Angel Messenger class with Karen Paolino Correia.  Four of us started with Karen's Basic class in September.  Looking back to that time, the four of us were able to recognize how much spiritual growth has taken place since then.  Karen really did design a journey.  I strongly recommend her "40 Day Journey on What Would Love Do?".  She and her husband, Louie, also do a workshop on Quantum Breathwork.  They did this as part of the course.  I also highly recommend this.

      The First Spiritualist Church of Rhode Island is approaching its first anniversary.  There will be a fair the weekend of June 9th and 10th to celebrate this.  Attendance has grown dramatically and we are hearing that we have the highest attendance of all the churches other mediums serve.  People of like mind and kindred spirits are connecting in a loving and supportive way.  We currently have two monthly healing circles.  The first Tuesday of the month is a healing circle with a meditation and healing time similar to a Reiki share.  There is a $7 donation for members and $10 for non members.  The first Wednesday of the month is the Holistic Cancer Group, dedicated to those who have been diagnosed with cancer or are cancer survivors. ($7 donation)  We also place into the circle of healing the names of those who cannot be there, those who may live out of state.  If you have a name you would like placed in the healing circle, do not hesitate to email me at the above email address.

An Update

       My first post for 2012...January was a busy and exciting month.

I did the Third Phase Magnified Healing workshop with Gladys Ellen.  Once again I was impressed with the depth of her knowledge and her journey as an angel messenger and energy worker/teacher.  I have been using Magnified Healing and am seeing impressive results with the energy brought to us by Lady Kwan Yin and Lord Melchizedek. 

        I am having fun with angel readings.  It is amazing how wonderful the messages can be...guidance, love, affirming.  More and more people are turning to the angelic realm and are increasingly aware of the importance of raising one's vibration for their personal path and that of the universe.
           I also taught Reiki II in January and teaching Reiki is so rewarding.  About two hours after the class, my daughter unexpectedly went into labor 8 days early.  My third grandchild, was born early morning of the next day.  They have named him Joseph, which was my father's name.  It was not intentional to name him after my father.  They like the name.  But I am sure my father is a powerful guide for him.  
        I started the Advanced Angel Messenger class with Karen Paolino.  She has made the "40 Day Journey of What Would Love Do?" part of the curriculum.  This will be the second time for me, the twenty-second time for her.  I agree with her thinking.  
She channeled the messages and questions for us to reflect on and answer from eight Ascended Masters. Each time of going through this process helps to release fear and peel away another layer of the onion.  As this happens, energy tied up with fear is released to be transmuted and becomes available to raise our vibration.  Living in the energy of Love is peaceful.

A Little More About Me

       Last year I wrote "About Me" and how I came to Reiki.  Thought it time to add a little more.  

       Having experienced illness in my younger years, I always felt a desire to use that knowledge to help others.  I also learned first hand what it is like to be a family member of someone ill and the importance of advocacy in the medical system.

       My formal path began with a career in Diagnostic Imaging, doing X-Ray, Radiation Therapy and MRI.  I took a break from technology in the 70's to obtain both BA and MA degrees from University of Rhode Island.  In May 1978 I was awarded a Phi Beta Kappa key.

       After working with Viet Nam veterans under a grant the VA received, I returned to the medical setting to do dialysis social work and, later, patient advocacy in the Consumer Relations Department at Rhode Island Group Health Association.

       I spoke earlier of how I came to Reiki.  I became a Master/Teacher of Usui Reiki in September 2008 and Karuna Reiki (R)in May 2010.  I was certified in the Pathway Prayer Process(C) to access the Akashic Records November 2010.

       In August 2011 I was initiated into the beautiful energy of Magnified Healing(R) when I studied with Gladys Alicea and did a Table Tipping workshop, a form of physical mediumship, with author Teresa Lally.  Fall of 2011, my path brought me to study angel communication with Karen Paolino, who was certified by Doreen Virtue.

       As time goes on, I grow ever more passionate about the benefits of healing energy and the joy of mentoring people as their healing and spiritual gifts unfold.  This is my path for the rest of my life. 

About Me

   Three and a half years ago I was working at a very demanding job that I loved.  As much as this was satisfying and fulfilling, I often wondered how I would physically withstand the multiple demands of this position until my full retirement of 65 years and 10 months.

       The sixth chakra, or third eye, could not see a way out.  I had my head hunkered down to do battle to the finish.

       God/the Universe/ Spirit/the Higher Self intervened with a life altering injury.  I was forced to stop.

       The journey since has been phenomenal.  Perseverance through rehab, frustration with multiple systems, misdiagnosis, being led to Reiki.

       Six months after my injury, our 19 1/2 year-old calico cat transitioned to the other side.  Trixie was beautiful, with a beautiful soul.  During many quiet, alone moments with her lying on my chest, I put my hands on her saying I wanted to learn Reiki to help her.  Given my schedule, this never happened.  A couple of weeks after her death, I met with a pet medium, Karen Daley.  Trixie quickly came through to tell Karen I needed to learn Reiki.  No one, absolutely no one, knew of my comments to Trixie about Reiki.  A week later, I was in a First Degree Reiki workshop with Myra Partyka at All That Matters.

       Oh, what Trixie started!  I am now a Usui Reiki Master.  I then did the Growing the Healer Within program with Rhys Thomas.  This past spring I had the awesome experience of learning Karuna Reiki with William Lee Rand.

       The ripple effect of Reiki reached to my daughter, Kate.  She is also now a Reiki Master.  My husband, Ed, has also traveled the Reiki path, with a focus on pet Reiki.  Oh, what the Universe and Trixie hath wrought.
