The May Akashic Records class provided a breakthrough for me on my path of soul evolution. For someone who did not believe in reincarnation, my path has taken quite a turn.
Energy does not disappear. It changes form. The energetic imprint from past lives is with us, within our soul energy. I call it our "energetic DNA". Our past lives have been very interesting. We have all led lives of integrity, caring, loving lives, and lives where we were the aggressor, the perpetrator, lives where we were the victim. All of these lives balance out so that we experience a variety of emotions, conditions, and events in our journey of soul evolution. In that class I became acquainted with three of those lives and really understood the meaning of the affirmation I spoke of in the last blog post. I love me, and all that that is, ever was, and ever will be. This class addressed the importance of loving all that I ever was, accepting that person, forgiving that person, loving that person and integrating it into who I am today, knowing that it all brought me to today. It is all good. It was very freeing. It was a monumental aha experience in that the knowledge gained made so much sense when looking at my life. Brian Weiss talks about the healing a past life regression brings to current events and situations. It is the same thing, only I reached it with a different process.
Brian Weiss and those entering the relative new field of Energy Psychology recognize the impact of working with energy in a way that is not consistent with traditional psychotherapy. During my Masters in Counseling program lo those many years ago, the school of psychology that made the most sense to me was Gestalt. I am very grateful that I have been brought to this point in my life, not only to heal myself, but to share these tools with others.
